Weekend Madness!

This weekend we have some GCSE rock climbing and orienteering students in the centre. They have brought lots of energy and enthusiasm with them, and have been fantastic on their first day of activities! We had three groups climbing to great heights at Conway mountain; they had a taster of climbing, and even learnt the basics of rope work! We also had two groups smashing our orienteering courses dotted around the centre, and went on to complete a further two more course located in the local area! Things are certainly looking good for tomorrow, and we cant wait for some more fun with our groups.

Final day fun

Today was sadly our last day with this weeks fantastic group. We really have seen the group come into their own over the week, and they have learnt to over come all the obstacles in their way! Today we took one group down into the deep dark mines of Rhiwback, took one group sea level traversing around cable bay, and took two groups indoor rock climbing and finished with a trip to the welsh national slate museum!

We really have had a fantastic time with the groups this week, we hope they have as well, see you all again next year!!

Wicked Wednesdays

Well what a day we have had at Blue Peris. Today our students woke bright an early not knowing what activities laid ahead of them for the day, was it Mining?, was it sea level traversing? or was a mountain day?, in fact it was all of them!!! Yes it was a proper mix of activities for our students but have all come back with big cheesy grins on the faces. Final day of activities tomorrow and we can not wait!

Teachers do love these trips really

I will make a snow angel even if there isn't any snow

A Joyous January day!

Today saw a lot of joy on our student's faces here at Blue Peris. We had some pretty epic adventures; with one group exploring the welsh coastline on a sea level traversing trip, and a further three groups exploring some of the most beautiful mountains Snowdonia has to offer! We are certainly excited for the rest of the weeks adventures.

Welcome back schools

Today was the first day of activities this year WAHOOO. Weather wasn't on our side today so 2 of our groups went climbing at one North Wales best climbing venues followed by a very interesting tour of the slate museum. While they were doing that the other 2 groups went on an underground exploration and 2 of our finest mines found within the area. A lot of fun and all the children can think about is what fun we are all going to have tomorrow, bring it on!!!
